Senior Banking & Finance Lawyer – Budapest
Our client, a leading international firm, is looking for an experienced Banking & Finance Lawyer to join its legal team in Budapest.
The role offers the opportunity to work on a broad range of domestic and cross-border financing transactions, with significant responsibility and direct client exposure.
Key Responsibilities
Advise Hungarian and international clients on various financing transactions, including acquisition, project, real estate and renewable energy financing
Take responsibility for coordinating and executing transactions from start to closing
Draft, review and negotiate financing, security and related transaction documentation
Work closely with clients, financial institutions, counterparties and international advisers
Support and supervise junior colleagues where required
Your Background
Bar Qualified Hungarian lawyer
Ideally 4–8+ years of relevant experience in Banking & Finance
Strong experience in financing transactions and transaction documentation
Good understanding of LMA documentation
Experience coordinating transactions independently
Fluent English with strong drafting, negotiation and client-facing skills
